The Star Stitch is completed working 2 Rows.
There are 2 techniques to work the Row 2.
Row 1
Insert the hook into the 1st ch and bring out a loop.
Repeat till you have 6 loops on the hook.
Yarn over and pass the yarn through all 6 loops.

Row 2
Technique 1
2 simple crochets in each center of each star of the previous Row.
Technique 2
2 half double crochets in each center of each star of previous Row
