Dear crocheters welcome back!!! In this post and the video below you can learn how to crochet the Jersey/Granite stitch.

Abbreviations: 

ch     Chain

Sc    Single crochet 

Instructions:

1. Start with the foundation chain and an odd number of stitches.
2. Row 1:  Single crochet across, ch 1 and turn the work.
3. Row 2: Sc in the 2nd stitch from the hook. *Ch1, skip 1 stitch, sc into the next stitch*.
