How to crochet the dc stitch

Dear Crocheters, in this post and the video tutorial below you can learn how to crochet the Double crochet stitch that abbreviated is dc st.
I have already made a video with the basic stitches but in order to make easier for you to find the basic stitches, I 've decided to make each stitch separately.
You can start crocheting by using one of the two techniques:
1. The Slip Knot and foundation chain for right handed or The Slip Knot and foundation chain for left handed.
2. The magic Ring ( magic circle)

In the video tutorial below you will learn with step by step instructions how to crochet the double crochet stitch.

Instructions:
Double Crochet Stitch ( dc st)

1. Yarn over
2. Insert the crochet hook into the chain or stitch you desire to work and pull a loop
3. Yarn over and pass the yarn through the first 2 loops on the hook. You now have 3 loops on the hook.
4. Yarn over and pass the yarn through the other 2 loops
