During the Elastic cast-on method we create every time couples of stitches composed from 1 knit stitch and 1 purl stitch.

Instrucrions:

Preparatory Row

(repeat throughout the row)

Yarn over the knitting needle, move 1 stitch from left hand needle onto the right without working it. 1


Knit stitch

Row 2

Yarn over the needle, pass 1 stitch from the left onto the right needle without knitting it, Knit next 2 stitches together in 1 knit stitch



Repeat Row 2 till the end of the work.
