Dear crocheters!!! Welcome back to another post. In this post and the tutorial below you can learn how to make the the ribbed FRONT POST, RIBBED TRIPLE crochet stitch (US) / FRONT POST, RIBBED DOUBLE TREBLE crochet stitch (UK).
- It is often used to crochet the cable stitch or when we want to crochet a stitch which is several rows below.
The ribbed front post treble crochet stitch one of the basic stitches together with the:
Single crochet
Half double crochet
Double Crochet
Triple/ Double treble crochet
and the ribbed stitches:
single crochet back loop ribbed stitch/Brioche stitch
Double crochet front post ribbed stitch
Double crochet back post ribbed stitch
and so forth with some other stitches.
This stitch is like the treble stitch with the difference that you should insert the hook around the post just as you do when you are about to make a double crochet front post ribbed stitch.
Instructions:
- Make the slip knot and the foundation chain.
- Yarn over twice
- Insert the crochet hook around the post of the previous row from forth to back side and draw a loop.
